Finished GSA TB, the bike Nutty really wants

Hmm, might give it a miss then. Waiting until the weather is a bit warmer to put the tank pad on as it's quite expensive and I don't want the cold weather to stop it sticking properly. Garage isn't heated.

Peel off the film, then just spray some water with a little bit of washing up liquid in on the back, then move it around on the tank until it's central. Then get a microfiber cloth to gently squeegee all the water out. Gently warm with a hairdryer, and it won't go anywhere.:thumb

Or....... get the dealer to do it for free :)

That's the other option!:D

I bet it's not straight though.:augie:P

Hey Nutty,

Have you got black winglets yet? If so which solution did you go for?

Same question goes for the mini screen between the headlight and the actual screen.

Thanks

Yep, BMW black winglets, and the Cymarc black deflector were fitted the day it arrived.:beerjug:

I wonder if Lloyd has those.:augie:D

Edit - looks like he doesn't have the deflector!:JB

if you live up derbyshire, notts and dont fancy doing it yourself. give John a ring, had this done in Xpel protection gloss.. 90% of paint is covered and makes it look like its under an inch of glass

Tut tut nuts

The cheap and nasty looking deflector doesn't fit with my gorgeous mesh headlight protector, which of course drops down on hinges to clean the headlight

So, your bike isn't complete then.:rob:D

Hmm, I read Nutty's reply first and ordered both and have a headlight protector which drops down on hinges in the post already - although not a mesh one.

Hope they all play nice together.

Bin the headlight protector, as it's not needed. Nearly 4 years since the LC came out, and not one report of a broken LED headlight, anywhere.

Mine was smashed by an errant Pheasant. Got the photos somewhere to prove it- got a second hand Headlight for £450, a real pig to fit too.
