Finished my first trip, not all great news :(

Hey guy's, I finally finished my first trip. 6 days to John o groats and back doing a littel touring on the way back down. just over 1800 miles covered and no i'm completely converted! Touring it will be from here on and as for Scotland.......

stunning place to ride!!!

However......

The GS is now for sale....

Please take a look at the link below if you know anyone in South Wales who maybe interested? LIke a 'TOOL' I spent about £400 on extras before doing a long trip. As great as the bike was and as much as I love it, it canes my lower back and doesnt distribute any weight onto my arms.

So as per the advert im looking for something more conventional. It was nice whilst it lasted and im really disappointed.

Help me out guys, someone find a new home for my GS.

Before you waste a load of money selling up why dont you look at tweaking the bike slightly to help? On my F800gs i used to get loads of back ache but with the installation of 20mm bar risers it was all sorted

baz have you considered the 1100ss , i had the "boxer cup replica" for a couple of years before my 1150gsa and sometimes i've got to say i regret selling it. its different , more sporty than the gs and in the boxer cup colours probably one of the smartest bikes you could see.... unless you see my lovely BLACK gsa!!!
