I love it . (Though, arguably, an engine upgrade is really needed to keep up with KTM)

Not as much change as I anticipated ...but it's better ! (imho)


The weakest point on the whole bike (imho) is the shameful ( made by Zanussi? ) "tin" type exhaust . It looks tawdry and sounds weak. ( The exhaust on my F800GS was a beautifully welded stainless "work of art" that sounded deep and muscular. Why do we get such a humble offering on the 1200?
I see that exhaust is unchanged. Shameful BMW.

I actually don't think the exhaust is too bad. It sounds ok for a standard can (in the greater scheme of things) I often wondered how it would look with some sort of a high satin black coating.

Like the tank graphic, tho still think the tank side panels should colour match the beak & centre panel.
Unnecessary cost saving & makes the tank look cheap.
Anyone know or can make a graphic similar to suit a 2015 Alpine White ��

Looks nice!! wonder if water pump still leaks? paint still falls off?switches still fall to bits? whoops did i say that? i am a mega gs fan but i am seriously going to look at new 1290 ktm,or versys 1000 if i get any more niggles when i get back out in the spring.
