Actually people said that the RSV4 was uncomfortable, but I found it was the most comfy sportsbike I have ever ridden. A high seat makes for good knee angle.

There is nothing wrong with the GS at all, it is not just an Old Mans bike, though its reputation does say it should be. My earlier comment was supposed to be tongue in cheek. Would love to see more younger people on GS`s, or indeed any motorbike, whether Sports, retro, touring, whatever whatever whatever......loads of bikes to choose from now and they are all great, bar none.

oi! im 57 and ride a pani 1299 r and hand on heart it aint uncomfortable as you think ..at crusing speeds its just as comfortable as my LC... also the build quality FAR exceeds the german mile muncher

Personal preference and personal choice. Sadly my practical side comes out before what I am seen on. On my GS LC I can get them pannier stuffed with stuff I normally wouldn't be able to transport on the sports bike.
