...of the new Adv after test ride this afternoon
Viewed from the cockpit it feels err... sooooooooo wiiiiiidddddeeeeee
(in comparison with my basic 12)
Once on the move however it felt light and very familiar. Down the twistie back roads of Danbury (Essex) handling was steady and inspired confidence. Once or twice when turning in on tight corners it felt a little skittish (maybe due to slightly damp road and TKC's
)
Engine was obviously still a little tight (less than 600 miles) but smooth traction out of corners felt great
Time to test it out on something a little more uneven
It was great on the slightly rough stuff... perhaps due to the wide foot pegs and extra weight
A fantastic bike for sure and worthy of all the praise heaped on it so far.
But... for now will stick with this rusty old barge
