First of many questions....

At least I'll have a nice, local selection of panniers to choose from over the next few weeks :D

I don't think Lynn will put up with that passenger seat for long.

:D

Belper Phil's panniers already in the garage .... Bike comes with a dual seat as well :thumb

I like this brake setup. How hard is it to do? Are the fork legs readily available? Does it provide better braking than a 320mm disc and a twin pot caliper?
I read through the brake threads but with so much info I struggled to reach a conclusion   :D

OOh! That's nice......:cool

And the front disk upgrade is just so right. Why they didn't build them like that I don't know :nenau

You have what looks like a much loved and well kept bike there Bryn, you'll enjoy it I know. Just hope you don't miss the 1200 too much, I know I would. That's why we're still a one airhead family. Can't bring myself to part with the big-un, so I'll keep looking for a bargain in need of some TLC.

Well done mate, see you in a few weeks.

Val.

Val.

The reason they never built them like that is because if you ride them like your meant to on gravel you dont want brakes that are to vicous and send you off

Thanks for the comments folks :thumb

I like the colour, but then I'm weird - and I won't be riding it like I'm meant to very often :D

Nice bike Bryn that cash must have been burning a hole in your pocket welcome to the darkside .Had a full day out on your old bike on Saturday and am very pleased with it .
Cheers C'n'C:comfort

Looks like everyone is happy ( well except Steve.NZ :( ) :D

Stopping power is very good with 2 discs or the 320mm conversion - I've owned both..and both do the job admirably :thumb2 320mm the easier option to fit. Bryns is an expensive set-up.

OMG....that purple is growing on me a little:eek:

Riding on gravel... that counts out the 1100/1150/1200's then, all with twin discs:confused:

Anyway.... my driveway is block paved so I needn't worry :D

You need a second right hand leg and then swap the internals over with your original left fork leg.

1200SE then a 100GSPD, a man of taste :D If you want to sell that single seat and rack I have a good home for it.

Let's hope he doesn't, I've got first dibs as part of my finders fee! :pullface

Finder's fee:confused: I has been on Ebay 2-3 times

I nearly bought that bike, 2 months ago after speaking to the owner on the phone...................but slept on it and remembered why I don't like airheads anymore

Then please p**s off back to the 1150 sections and leave us all alone and let Bryn actually enjoy his bike !!!:rob

P.S. Bryn told me I had first dibs on it !!:tears

Your both wrong cos when i get sorted after Crimbo it'll be MINE I TELL YER:D
