I'm hoping to take the Friday off & head up a bit earlier than most. That way I'm not rushing on Sat morning & might even get a few miles in before everyone else arrives

If Dellis was interested (or indeed anyone else) we could ride up together.

Be good if you could make it - the roads are great & some of the tossers are alright too

I'm trying to model myself on Steptoe and become at peace with the world by embarking on a solo journey through a mystical foreign country, meeting as many of the colourful local natives as I pass through their lives.

I will overcome the language barrier using Steptoe’s tried and tested method of screaming at small children and then giving them Tic-Tacs. In this way I hope to learn the true meaning of "Go do one"

Dellis is interested. The boat I've booked on docks around 10.30am on friday in Dun Laoghaire. I was then planning to head west towards Galway then in the general direction of Sligo stopping at a B&B somewhere between Sligo and Letterkenny. If this fits with your plans let me know.
