First ride on it

I bought this 1995 r850r about a month ago and this is the first ride out on it, to Hartside, there was'nt snow as I expected there to be but it was bloody windy and cold. Well the bike performed quite well better than I expected, but I tied myself in knots a couple of times. It needs a set of panniers anyone got any?

I was lent one of those some years ago when my first 1150 was in for warranty work. Totally changed my attitude towards both the 850's and the R's.
they have to be the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden, and I was so impressed with the motor I didn't hesitate when offered my 850GS four years ago.
Bought a second 1150 the end of last summer, but still prefer the 850, so much so I'm seriously considering selling the 1150 on and just sticking with the 850.

Mind you Er Indoors got the Titanium Remus and link Pipe which REALLY changes the bike
