How did you get on Steve?

Did you enjoy it or do you still have to get used to it? They can take a while for some.

The bike went well , in fact it seemed to go better and better as the ride went on. I was surprised how "nippey" it was compaired to my R90 and R100.The only thing i think will take me a bit of getting used to is the lower gearing , but for the type of riding ill be doing which is mainly country laining it will be ideal. What i really like about it and what attracted me to the G/S is that its not to big and nice and light. I thought the brakes were ok ,and the rebuilt forks were fine. All in all i like it.
Ill ride it another 100 miles and change all the fluids and filter again , re torque the heads and check the valve clearances. I also need to have a look at the bean can to give it a bit of a lube.
Regards Steve
