First run of the year

Been away with work last wee while so back on home soil the day and took the bike over the lecht, brilliant pishing rain and blowing a howler over there but brilliant to be back on two wheels happy days...

Not the normal nervous first run after blowing the cobwebs off not sure if that is just a good sign of how good the R1200GS is as a bike...

I know what you mean.

I had my first decent run of the year on Sunday. Aberdeen - Johnshaven - Laurencekirk - Cairn o Mount - Aboyne - Aberdeen.

Off to Edinburgh on the bike tomorrow too for an afternoon at Murrayfield

No wasnt, aye always good when the start of the tournament you hear them all stating that Scotland will be great when in fact they turn out to be total pish.

I was at murrayfield for the Scotland game - they were indeed pish.

Great atmosphere watching the 2nd half of the England v France game - they were showing it on the big screens in the stadium and there were several thousand Scotland and Ireland fans in the west stand cheering on the French...
