Had the first service done today and got a Vario topbox and Engine Bars fitted. I must have picked the coldest, wettest and windy 24th May in human history to do the 120 mile trip. Having only ever ridden sportsbikes in shit weather I was a bit surprised how much the GS moved about in the high winds. I guess there's just a lot more bike there to catch the wind plus the huge sail I'd just had fitted to the back.

Despite others mentioning it I was still quite surprised at how much road crap I got covered in. All part of the fun:)

Few pics when I got back...

I have been told that my vario and bars are awaiting for my first service too :bounce1

You obviously made the schoolboy error of pressing the 'rain' mode button when you set off. I did the same last week and it was absolutely torrential as a result....

Looks nice Daxaar, best colour too

Yes it does throw a lot of road muck up at the back, i have the small frame covers fitted which help , but awaiting the rear hugger from whoever gets one out first :blast
