First Snow in the Dales today

Had a day out in the Dales today and from Kettlewell, decided to head out into Coverdale and home via Carlton and Middleham

Spotted the forst snow of this winter on a north facing snow.............brr

Coverdale, very icy and treacherous - especially on the hill descents, before the stone bridge which were all sheet ice






Thank goodness for 4WD and heated seats - the car had all 4 wheels sliding in places





I would have been not nice on the bike, unless on a lightweight which you could have ridden on the grass

Bit fresher than the pics when Andy went over it, earlier in the week

Washed, dried, polished, oiled, and scotoil 365 liberally applied. All ready for my next ride out.

Not really about been hardcore, I enjoy my bike riding. You wouldn't catch me jumping in and out of cold streams on a trail bike.
