I fired up my 850T for the first time since Spring 2020 today. I had drained the float bowls before storage. She literally fired up first prod and is running lovely. That is a relief! I haven’t done many miles on any of my bikes during this time. As I retire in March I think I will put her back on the road for the coming year and see if I use her. Kayaking always seems to get preference these days!

Took her for a spin today. She is running spot on. You really do know you have a motor beneath you on these beauties!

MS - You drained the float bowls, did you also drain/refill the tank or did she start up OK on the old fuel? Just wondering as I've started up bikes on old fuel despite the :blagblah:blagblah:blagblah re using old fuel.

That's one lovely motorbike.

I just drain bowls or run until it stops with taps off and store with full tank. I have never had any fuel related issues starting after a
long period of storage. If it goes over 2 years I would probably drain it off an refill with fresh fuel. I would just put the old fuel in my car.
