Fish Dash 11 Sunday 23rd Dec

It's turning into a long night Jo.... All I know at the moment is I won't be biking early tomorrow mornin ;-)

Have a great day folks, wish I was there. :beerjug: See you after Christmas.

Hi all

Would like to meet up with group on route also carlingford would be best
what time do you all rekon youl be there at

cheers davy

Hi Davy,

GPS route is saying it will take about 2and a half hours but I will most likely take 3 hours from Dublin to Carlingford, so we will be there at about 1pm :thumb

Just to give people a rough idea of the route & timings - leaving Texaco at 10.00 & out to the coast - Skerries, Balbriggan, Bettystown. The north docks in Drogheda about 11.30. Hopefully a short stop in Clogherhead (or close by) for a cuppa if we can find somewhere. Then through Dundalk & out the Greenore / Carlingford road (R173), passing the petrol station (Niall Clarke ?) about 12.30. Shortly thereafter we'll head into the hills with a stop at Black Mountain if it's not too overcast. And down into Omeath & along the coast to Ma Bakers in Carlingford for 13.30 ;)

See youse in the morning :thumb2

Sorry to report I will have to miss this one. A sudden death in the family rearranges everything in front of it. Hope to catch up with you all early in the new year. In the meantime have a wonderful Christmas and be safe.

A sudden death in the family rearranges everything in front of it.
Really sorry to hear that Robert. My thoughts are with you & your family.

Great day out, thanks for the company folks :beerjug:
Despite the forecast earlier in the week we had a bright & dry day although some of the roads were not at their best
After yer wowan in Ma Bakers didn't bother her ar$e to show up as arranged we took Clare's advise & adjourned next door to PJ's for a rather upmarket Fish Dash - seats & heat ;) And a great chowder (the best I've had all week :D)

When are ya back again Bin ? :augie

Also missed the dash but the fish bit was well worth the trip :thumb2 Great bowl of chowder. It's been too long since I caught up with yis all, won't be as long until the next time :beerjug:

Great to see you all today for a luxurious FD. Yes Arthur, it has been too long.

Robert, sincere condolences on your loss.

I have just been looking in Google at where we had to turn back because the tide was in - thank God for small mercies!!

What about a photo of Ghost with 100K Kms on the bike - ahem, Brian?

Lovely day and as said, good to see Arthur, the Saoi of Lough Erne!

Bin
