Probably :comfort

I haven't posted departure point yet but, subject to an imminent recce, it's likely to be the Topaz on the N81 / Tallaght By-pass just west of the M50. Full details will be posted up including stop / alternative meeting point. Watch this space ;)

Tom, when the feck did you ever do The Boreen
You'd have to actually ride your bike when you got over here .

It won't be boreens Tom, but mostly R roads
'Fraid so. Given the time of year the days aren't long enough to do that sort of distance, have lunch & several 'comfort' stops (us reformed smokers don't do 'fag breaks' :D), and still be back in Dublin before it gets too dark.
And then we still have to ride home from the finish point ;)

veggie

jochen are vegetarians been catered for .whats this about boreens are you doing the irish boreen next year:augie:augie::
happy new year :beerjug::beerjug:

Margaret Thatcher went to Claridges for dinner with her Cabinet.
Head Waiter says" And what would Madam like to eat?"
She says "I will have steak"
He says "and the vegetables?"
She says "they will also have steak"...

Boreen in August is a pain in the arse .. boreen in January is just asking for money to be wasted on repairs

lol

riding to uncle shays for last 14 years up a track thats 86 times worse than any boreen :D on road tyres - after 35 years it started being resurfaced about 3 months ago the tarmac truck nearly didnt fit up the lane :D

no problem :D

There'll be plenty of time for that once the days get a bit longer ;)
If you're very good I might bring you round a few boreens in the Slieve Blooms when this weather picks up :thumb2

cheers, and i lets see how much damage i can do in 1 days riding to my bike

Well lads. First day back in work today and things have really changed for where my plans are concerned.

I was due to fly to Africa on the 8th of feb with work for a few months and today I found out that I'll be leaving on the 24th of this month so there is no way I'll get a free pass from herself the day before I leave so I'll have to wait until i'm back get back to meet you all.

Raging but thats life. :blast
