I agree conditions aren't exactly perfect for biking at the moment
but with 17 sleeps to go anything could happen (and probably will 
) I certainly wouldn't be cancelling it until a couple of days before anyway. Assume it's on & make your plans accordingly 
What is causing me some concern is that I haven't managed to do a recce yet. With no phone number for the chippy I'm relying on a 'site visit' beforehand to prepare them for the arrival of a crowd of hungry Tossers & Hairnet600
