Fitment of crash bars on a 1100/1150GS hybrid

I would like to add some drop protection to my bike, like the look of the heed full bunker bars but they wont fit my bike as its an 1100 with an 1150 adv tank and beak.

Does anyone know of a solution? Im told the 1150 lower bars from most manufacturers wont fit the 1100, and the 1100 uppers are not wide enough for the adv tank.

I've seen and worked on plenty of 1100GS with adv tanks and crashbars fitted.
Sorry, but i haven't a clue what or which bars they had fitted, you'd need the owners to pipe up.

Have a set of 1150 ones lying in the garage if you want them, not sure if the mount where the footpeg brackets are is the same , but there yours if you want to try, all the best Tam.

I have a pair of Hepco and Beckers from an 1100R set aside to be rechromed one day. There are a few choices out there for 1100s.

I'll offer them up to my 1150 GSA over the weekend and see whether they work if that's any help to you.
