fitted bar risers, now got issues!

Fitted bar risers the other day and they are the standard 20mm higher and 20mm back. Fitted no problem but 2 things happened after fitting.
1, the ABS wont reset itself after starting and moving off, never an issue before, just keep getting the flashing red lights all the time. Used to engage once riding a few yards and most time after sitting at the lights for example.
2, the throttle is much heavier and will stay in position if i take my hand from the grip. again this never happened before and would return as normal.
Have i did something wrong?
I asked if any mods needed done prior to buying and did the search on here but everyone as far as i can see had no issues.
Any help would be appreciated as im riding in this shite weather everyday

I fitted 25mm risers with no ill effects at all Falcoron.

Given that yours are up and back 20mm it may be possible that cables are being stretched somewhere. The sticking throttle would seem to confirm this.

Check all your cable runs to be sure that they are not stretched or snagged anywhere. Similarly check all electrical cable runs and plugs that they are not nipped anywhere and that all plugs are fully home in their sockets.
