I dragged the bike out and fitted my new Titanium Diablo oval midi exhaust from Fuel Exhausts this afternoon.

Fitting was pretty straightforward, helped by having the correct size torx head in the KTM toolkit to remove the exhaust bracket...

The can is nicely put together and well finished. Without the baffle in it is VERY meaty but I suspect it would annoy me long term so I've left the baffle in.

Louise has said she will extend a 5% discount to fellow Tossers if you fancy one..

Is anything missing? Like a heat shield or something.
That joint where the exhaust fits needs something to cover it.

Just saying.

I also have a fuel diablo and it runs a lot cooler than the standard exhaust so having no heat shield is not an issue.

Neither would I, but it does happen. Why would BMW and brands such as Akrapovic supply their bikes/cans with them if it wasn't a potential issue? :nenau

I wasn't really concerned about the heat issue.
Never before have I seen such an ugly join.

Just thought it would be a good idea to hide it.

Yep, thats the main reason I went with the Arrow.

The other reasons being cost, e marking and it looks and sounds great.

At £270 for a titanium can from Fuel I can't see how cost would be an issue....

I do agree it would benefit from a carbon cover to cover the join and I've fed it back to Louise.

Does sound fantastic though, and having got a cracking show price at the NEC it made it affordable.

If I didn't have the akro.

The Arrow would be my choice. Looks very smart. It's light and has a heat shield and a nice looking support mount.
