Fittig Crash Bars for 2014 RT

I have just bought a set of unused crash bars of eBay for my new bike and I am about to fit them this weekend
They are the Wunderlich set and the fitting instructions say to remove the plastic cover around the cylinders. Has anyone done this and is it a straight forward few star drives, or do I have to remove more to release the lower panel ?

The YouTube video was absolutely invaluable in fact you didn't have to use all the fitting kit spaces. Took about two hours to do the job and I found the radiator filler on route. Thanks again for the help
