I plan to fit a set of Misgels 35mm straight up bar risers.
I have been told that the 25mm ones "do not" require any mods/changes to brakes etc, but the 35mm might do?

So questions one, on my 2000 reg R1150GS (non abs) will i need to change anything? I suspect the top break line will need to be lengthened.. if this is the case, wheres the best place to get a new cable?

Hi John

should be a doddle, but you'll prolly need a new brake line - Hel are good if you tell them exactly what you want (length, type of banjo, orientation of banjo etc). They are in the "links" section I believe.

Or have you got those new cable operated leading shoe type brakes on yours?

Hope the fizzy arm syndrome is getting better.

Simon
