Fitting a LED sidelight bulb...

Am I right in thinking the bike will detect a blown bulb if you fit a LED type, because of the low drain?
Anyone tried it?
I've got a "blue" headlight and the sidelight looks sick next to it. It has to go.

Have you tried searching on it, IIRC there was a thread on just this not too long ago

yes you get a blown bulb warning permanently on. I have lived with that warning for the past year. One of those things that I should fit a resistor in there, but have never got around to it.
