Has anybody fitted a Sena SMH 5 to BMW 6 evo helmet? The SMH 5 seems to have everything I need (listen to sat nav instructions and a bit music) at a reasonable price. Looked at the SMH 10 as well but prefer the smaller size of the 5.
Looking at the helmet I can't see how the clamp will fit, there isn't an obvious space between the shell and the lining. I know there's a sticky pad that you can use but I would be concerned about the security of it.
I don't want to go down the route of spending mega bucks on the BMW unit ,if in the future I wanted to use it as an intercom it would mean buying a second BMW helmet rather than a 100 quid sena unit.
