Really helpful link to youtube guide to fitting headers on page seven here. I have a slight problem. I am unsure as to where (on twin cam GS ) the 02 sensor connectors are located. I think they maybe underneath the cylinders. There in is the problem as this area is covered by a plastic shield the third and vital screw to which i cannot remove without removing the engine bars :blast
So before i go taking the bars off can someone please confirm this is indeed where i should be looking.

Thanks Dario.:aidan

you dont have to unplug the sensors, just undo the nut out of the headers, remember how many turns, fit the akro headers and screw back in.

Did not have a 20mm spanner and was unsure if there was enough slack to do them in place. Will have a go.

Thanks.:D

Its a lot easier if you can get that plastic cover off and disconnect the sensor at the connector, under the cylinder. Saves twisting up the wire, means you can get a ring spanner on to undo the sensor nut, which will be tight. And you can leave taking the sensors out until you have the headers off and away from the bike. Same with re-installation. The choice is yours:thumb
