I've a set of alloys that I want to put on my 1150gs, I believe they're off an r1150r, but I'm not certain of that.

Went to try fitting the front today and found that I think I need a spacer of some form as there's a gap of about 5mm left when I tighten the axle spindle down.

I have the correct speedo drive, but that's not the problem. Photo of both sides of the wheel below, could anyone enlighten me.

Thanks.

let me know if you want to sell your spoke wheels.

Those wheels are from an 1100 not an 1150 so I would suspect that the speedo drive maybe wrong. Paul Young has fitted R1100XX wheels to his R1150GS so may be able to offer some advice.

Good luck:thumb

Def not a R1150R wheel,I have one on my 2003 GS which fitted straight on,as Dr Alf said maybe 1100R or RS.

There is a good thread on GS mods called ,I think,'Alloy Wheels the facts', full of useful information :thumb2
