My hubby is about to fit an MRA screen to this 1150 adventure but been told he needs some kind of fitting kit as the screen is designed for the GS not GSA. Anyone out there know what parts he need to order? And from where?

Brace yourself........it's over £50

He'll need to change the Adv screen side pods;

for the standard GS screen fittings for each side;

Inner screen mount £20.10 x2 (you'll need left and right, they're different, just like the Adv ones are)

Outer screen clamp £2.05 x 2 (left and right required)

Inner screen clamp £2.60 x 2 (left and right required)

Screen adjuster knurled bolts pair £6.10

Plus some bolts & self tapping screws to mount the clamps to the screen

have a look on the Motorworks site here

Having had an MRA screen on my GS (went back to the taller conventional screen) and now having a GSA with with tobinators the GSA screen is better than both I find. I realise it's personal preference though. I'm about 5"'10' for what its worth. Looking to convert the GS to a GSA screen as its that much better for me. The MRA was too noisy for my liking.

Still have it though it has a cracked mounting from a green laning topple.

would have been a good plan but he wants to hang onto the original screen and fittings just in case he doesn't get on with the MRA screen.

iv got a taller screen on my gs with tobinators. no buffeting at all its just the wind noise. iv been thinking about fitting a tall gsa screen a long with tobinators to try and reduce the noise
