I've just spent a "fun" few hours fighting to fit a baglux cover. I think my mistake was to attach the front two screws (the ones that hold the little wind deflectors). This made it next to impossible to attach the second screws (the ones that hold the dark side panels in place). Should I have done the side panels first then stretched the other part forwards?

Also its a pretty tight fit. I assume this is normal. I've seen some threads saying to fit it on a hot day to soften the plastic. Didn't think much of this till I was swearing at the damn thing trying to force it to fit.

Anyhow any tips would be appreciated. Are the standard screws long enough? With the side panels I could get all the holes to line up, but couldn't get the screw to bit (didn't want to force it and thread it). I'm hoping I was just being stupid starting at the top and working down.

Thanks for any tips.

Its annoying, but does fit if you take your time. The standard screws in the winglets fit. Best thing to do is get it fitting with the straps, then tighten it all up and you should get the holes to the winglets to line up.

+1

I found it helped to have someone else to help stretch the front bits forward to get them to line up.

Yep, warm it up. VERY careful use of a heat-gun helps. Mine fits very well. Fit everything loosely; then tighten everything gradually.
