I have just purchased a set of these with what was sold as a universal fitting kit. I think some minor alterations are required to make them fit but before i start just thought i would ask if anyone has fitted them (and did they require altering)?

Thanks

Dario

Hi Dario,
I have a set fitted to my '05 1200, which I know has different hand guards to the WC, but the only modification I made to the stated instructions was to leave the short alloy bar out. This made it much easier to get the bolts in, and has had no apparent detriment to the way the Blizzards stay on. Very pleased with mine.

I used them on my 14 MY GSA and continue to do so on the XR

As above just leave out the alu bar and they fit a doddle

Hi

I have no hem on my 2014 GSA. They are a straight swop. Nothing needs altering.

Right then i will give that a go. Here was me going to modify the alloy bar doh!

As usual guys with superior knowledge (and common sense) save the day.

:-)

some pics once installed would be good! I've got Givi extensions which keep your hands dry on the move, but not at slow speed / city riding. Would be good to keep them dry for winter without fitting muffs etc

Blizzards fitted

As others have said remove the metal bar and they fit no problem. I have fitted mine over Wunderlich hand guard extensions;
