Sorry, I know this is the slightly wrong forum, but someone from the BM Riderforum suggested that I post the message here as well.
I've just changed from an F650 to a 1998 R850R and have 'brought with me' my old Oxford Hothands, which I now want to install on the R. My BM dealer tells me that I should find wiring under the tank, but wasn't any more specific. Does anyone know what I'm looking for? N.B. - I do have the switch that come with the grips, and before anyone mentions it, the bike does have a power socket, so there shouldn't be an issue with the alternator (some people on the BM rider forum suggested that this might be a problem, but only for bikes without already fitted grips/socket due to weaker alternator).

Any help appreciated:beerjug:

On my '96 1100R there was a white accessory terminal block under the front of the tank. Not sure if it is the same on the 850 version. Before you start though, check that the diameter of the throttle grip is not too large for the Oxford grip. I've heard of problems with some heated grip kits fitting.
