Hi all, anyone any helpful advice and/or pics of how to fit and hardwire a BMW Nav IV onto an S10,i was hoping to use a NavIV cradle in a TT lockable mount on crossbar (if it has one) on S10 screen.Won't be fitting TT adjustable screen mount.Any help/advice/suggestions gratefully received.Cheers Neil

My satnav is fitted using a RAM ball/U clamp onto the handlebar and the specific cradle for my satnav. Electric supply comes from the accessory socket in the cockpit.

If you want to hard wire the cradle then there are accessory leads (2 of them) under the RH cover near the battery. They are there for heated grips & accessory lights but can be tapped into for other items.

I have a Zumo 550 on a TT lockable mount but removed the anti vibe bits as they are actually vibration enhancers, The power is taken from a wire T-Piece I made in line with the ancillary socket, I may move this to the Eastern Beaver module next time I have it apart. I also had to brace the GPS mount using a coubel of small bottle screw/turn buckles out of my boat spares bin to stop the whole thing moving with bumps in the road.
