I acquired a lovely 2002 R1150GSA (my second) last year and am happily enjoying having a bike again. My question is regarding an old carbon fibre Pyramid Plastics hugger I have knocking around the garage. This hugger was mounted on my old 2002 R1150GS (it died, don't ask!) and I am asking whether the collective knows if the hugger will fit on the Adventure without mods..? Both my present Adventure and my poor dead non-Adventure were ABS models.

Next problem is, if it fits, does anyone know exactly what fittings are required to mount it and where to get them?

I tried contracting Pyramid Plastics but the lovely sales person said she had no idea on this one...

No reason it shouldn't fit, I'm sure I even have some of the long fixing bolts in the shed if you get stuck

No, not got the hex extension bolts. If you have them Stujw79, I'd be happy to pay for them...

Without those bolts it won't fit. Be warned though they look odd due to the short OE guard, had one on mine and took it off. Loosing the OE guard sends all the shite up all over the topbox.

Bolts
As mentioned in my PM, you will need to source a counter sunk bolt as I'm sure you can see from the pic.
