Lot's of info if you do a search on 'Nautilus' in GS Mods.

From memory there are two wiring options on the box. You need to follow the option for 'Hot button'.

Had mine in place for 14,000 miles. No problems whatsoever, it's still great fun to see eveyone looking for a 40 Tonne wagon and then realise it was a bike that made all that noise! :D

Dunno about the 1150 wiring but I fitted mine onto my 1100 and just took the old horm off , bolted the nautilus on and used the existing BMW wires and relay - hit the horn button and it worked fine first time. I didn't bugger about with rewiring and connecting the new relay.
If it ain't broke - fix it till it is :D

i tried to fit my one but i have got bar rises on.

when the bike is on the centre stand it catches the horn, so i have decided to take it off. i would love to put it back on though....any suggestions please
thanks

.............try mounting it under the beak! ............................................................................................... - I have bar risers and a Nautilus horn and it works perfectly. Make the little bent bracket that has been mentioned previously and no problems

Trunker, you only need one of the wires to energise the relay. It is the green which is live and the brown is earthed. I used the original braket and reformed it - only just enough room there but no problems with it yet. Careful with connections on relay as not same orientation as on box - look at the diagram on back of relay and you wont go wrong. I super-glued an in-line flat fuse holder to the side of the relay to neaten it all up. All worth doing as you actually see car drivers stand up in their seats following inconsiderate manoeuvres.

Steve.

nautilus horn thank you
