Just about to fit Decals to my newly painted Adv tank. I seem to remember some of you maestros saying the best method was to use soapy water (or maybe it wasn't fitting decals you were talking about?)

Anyway, could someone enlighten me with at bit more detail please?

Thanks

Will

I got my new stickers off 2WheelHumvee one of the other guys on here.

Peeled off the backing, stuck them straight on the tank then peeled off the front paper leaving the sticker on the tank with the right spacings between letters :clap

just as he said , put them on and just judge if they are in the right place, use a credit card to smooth out any air bubbles and then stand back and admire:thumb2

Cheers guys ;)

What they said, when applying to a curved surface like a fuel tank, hold the sticker over the surface until alignment is right, touch down the sticker in the centre and smooth down from the centre working outwards, take a little time to get it right as you often only get one chance, they stick like sh*t to a blanket :thumb
If you have any doubts about putting them in the right place first time, spray the area first with a mild soapy water mix, this will enable you to slide the sticker/decal into place, then smooth out the bubbles with a credit card and carefully remove the backing paper :thumb
