Pretty damned cold, only two bikes making it to Applecross - the Long Way Round. The GS-A and the FL.

The latter made it halfway up the back-side of the Bealach before spinning out in the slush. Wet, wind-blown, drifts of 4-6"

So much fun!!!

Thanks All but it was one of those......Best Laid Plans......that turned to OMG.....Jeez......FFS.......brrrrr .

At the Kishorn side, we had coffee and soup and warmth, then decided to ride round the peninsula. Well, two of us.
Action cam filming, we rode as fast as we dared, wiping our visors every 100 yards (it seemed!!!).

Got to Applecross and found that 8-9 guys HAD made it over the top, on dirt bikes!! Embarrassingly, none was younger than 69!!!!
