That's horrendous reliability.
In contrast, 90k miles and 10 years ownership of mine and I've never had one go.
In fact the only time bloody 1150 wouldn't run was when I shot the fuel pump with my nail gun in error when halfway through a filter change I decided to service the paslode im350 and test fired a 3" nail through a block of wood resting on the pump.

Yes...mine had an horrendous thirst for oil; a whole 150ml in 18,000km in temperatures up to 44 degrees C.

That's shocking reliability, I'll take a chance on being BITTEN!! I'll give you £500 for it. Best to get shut now, I've only had mine 14 years as from 01/03/03. Never had to replace a bulb. I'll even collect that useless piece of shite !!!

Are you buying cheap bulbs? I had the same issue because I bought them off fleabay bought more expensive ones from Motorworks no more issues.
Are they Halogen? perhaps you touched the glass when you fitted the bulbs?? Only a possible reason??
