Thought I'd share this in case it helps anyone else out there. Nearly 10 months after breaking down on way to Dragon rally, getting various parts replaced but still being left with an annoying flat spot at 4000 revs, ( see previous posts) I replaced injectors today. Bike now pulls like a train in 6th gear right through to the red line. I had previously checked the injectors and had it plugged in at bmw-all seemed ok with no faults showing but still not right
. I am once again happy and at peace with the world and my bike!

If you keep an eye on Ebay, you can quite often pick up a pair of injectors for around the 40 quid mark......which is the same as a full professional ultrasonic clean, spray test and replacement of all o rings.

I picked up a pair a while back after having similar problems with poor running, and I'm glad I've got them stashed away :thumb2

I'll hang on to the one's I've replaced as may be worth having them checked out and cleaned. I think the fault may have only shown up if tested by specialist as they both had a good spray pattern and correct resistance values.
