As above. Any advice, short cuts etc?
The clutch fill pipe at the bottom of the system had a fill bolt that is the same thread as a VW car bleed nut if I remember correctly... Then you can bleed from there as per usual...As above. Any advice, short cuts etc?
Put the rubber lid back on the reservoir when you fill it up. That stops (most) of the spillage from squirtageThe brake reservoir certainly has a tendency to squirt fluid out and forwards when you pull the lever, so shield paintwork and surround it with towels/cloths

I like to be able to see that the level doesn’t get so low that it sucks air… Otherwise, that’s a good suggestionPut the rubber lid back on the reservoir when you fill it up. That stops (most) of the spillage from squirtage![]()

Good old fashioned ABS2 Neil. That was a factor in me buying it.Servo/abs brakes or simple ABS only brakes ?
I have tried placing a coin over the hole in the bottom of the brake reservoir while bleeding. Stops the squirtage and you can still clearly monitor your fluid level.I like to be able to see that the level doesn’t get so low that it sucks air… Otherwise, that’s a good suggestion![]()

A cheaper option https://www.goodridge.co.uk/products/v-twin-bleed-nipples-speedbleed?keyword=bleed nipplesIf you can afford it, replace the bleed nipples with Stahlbus Speedbleeders. Available on eBay or maybe through Motorworks.
This will completely eliminate the need to repeatedly open and shut the bleed nipple whilst bleeding.
You open it once, and a small spring loaded one way valve does the rest.
that's a good idea ! use a 1 euro coin , and you have an emergency fund !I have tried placing a coin over the hole in the bottom of the brake reservoir while bleeding. Stops the squirtage and you can still clearly monitor your fluid level.
