Set piss boiling to 12
I know, does he not realise the current terminology is Old Fart astride a Wankpanzer?“Old farts on BMW motorcycles,” bit strong![]()
Harsh but fair I’d say…“Old farts on BMW motorcycles,” bit strong![]()
I refit the peak to my E1 if I’m likely to be being photographed…He is bang on - that’s why the peak on my E1 was removed and chucked in the garage corner a few years ago.

I have the E1. Flip and peak, well one can never be too prepared. Dib Dib.I refit the peak to my E1 if I’m likely to be being photographed…

I agree. Had a Shark Evo. Great idea; average execution…He’s bang on , as usual . I just wish the Neotec chin bar went up and over like my Shark Evo.
The latter is much nicer to use but hasn’t the same quality as the Shoei
I have an Arai with that pro visor thingy. Yet to ride any distance with it though. I fitted an intercom and it hurts my ears. Maybe I should remove the intercomPersonally I’ve never worn a peak on the road. I do love Arai’s Pro visor though. It does a good job of keeping the sun out the eyes
I never owned a flip, but I do see the benefits if riding somewhere hot.
Hedon open face has been my go to choice to date.
I still find him quite smarmy and condescending, but that doesn’t make him wrong![]()

Couldn’t really comment on intercoms cause I’ve never used! LolI have an Arai with that pro visor thingy. Yet to ride any distance with it though. I fitted an intercom and it hurts my ears. Maybe I should remove the intercom![]()
I find him smarmy and condescending, too. I also dislike the nastiness of his attacks on others (brands he doesn’t stock, John Milbank from Bennetts, etc.).I still find him quite smarmy and condescending
Not sure about the Neotec 3, but Shoei do a mesh chin curtain for the Neotec 2, which is a hallway house to keep wind noise down and allow a little more ventilation. For £14 it is a great addition to an already great helmet. May be worth a bit of research to see if one is available for the 3.I recently moved to a Neotec 3 with integrated Sena SRL3
It’s my first flip front and I like it, very comfortable and very quiet
The only fault I’ve found is that with the chin curtain fitted there’s not enough ventilation, it’s too hot even in winter and the sun visor gets wet from your breath and blurs, without the chin curtain it’s fine
