flip-up lids

I have switched from flip fronts to the Caberg Hyper X, and must say it is the best performing helmet I have ever owned.

The visibility is brilliant, never managed to get it to fog up ever, great air flow without blowing in eyes. No complaints from petrol station staff so far, just flip visor and they can see you almost as well as if you had a flip front.

Chin bar partly releases to aid fitting/removing helmet, or can be completely removed easily.

was thinking of getting a flip-up lid, looking at the carberg sintesi..at thoughts/suggestions?

Just bought one my first flip, 21/2 hours in constant rain and not a drip inside, came with pinlock and it did not mist up once. Flip locks into place once up for riding, inner visor darker than some which i like also comes right down to nose, seems to stop then you can push further to bring it right down. Has a space at side of helmet for bluetooth module as I don't use it I keep spare ear plugs in there. Can speak for noise of helmet as I wear ear plugs all the time. Easy to fit autocom inside. And comfy to. Also the operation of the flip is nice and smooth with no sqeaks. Mines with comms weighs 1813grams a bit more than my old AGV but you don't notice it, not as light as the sch C3 but i did not like how you had to grip it to open it. Overall happy with the purchase.

Just noticed this post was in July, don't know how I ended up here. O well will leave it anyway.
