I decided to investigate a rattle from the front disc today thinking that one of the callipers was binding. On checking I found that on the nearside disc all of the wavy washers that fit between the disc and the bolt/bobbin had disappeared ??. The bolts all appeared t be tight and the other side appears OK.
Has any one experienced this before ? or has any one any ideas what happened to the washers ? or have they simply rusted away (it's a 99 1150) as a result of exposing it to salt and slushy roads riding all year round up in the frozen North.
