Flying on airlines in motorcycle gear - experiences please

I worked for a motorcycle tour company based in Spain and needed to bring some of my kit over. I went on my Easyjet flight in the middle of August wearing a Klim textile suit and Sidi Adventure boots, as my case was full of stuff for the business. Got some funny looks, but it was definitely an ice breaker on the flight

The Oxford ones are good as lined with fur so very protected

I have the same one. Just the job…

Thank you very much, chaps. a lot of useful extra information. I have ordered an Oxford helmet bag as the one supplied with my Neotec no real protection beyond scuffing and the string pull is so long, it could just flail around all over the place.

Those bags aren’t really intended for travel. FWIW though, despite priding myself on being a packing-lite ninja, I always take one on long tours. Invariably I get to the end with my visor in better condition than my bikermates. Amazing the damage you can do to a helmet just carrying it around…
