this is quite intesting

Flyover will be open for Olympics (official vehicles only) but then close again:eek:


Have we turned into an 'Iron Curtain country' ?
 
If you're looking to cut 30 mins off journey times, maybe fixing these old flyovers that are rusting away would be a better use of public funds than a £30bn rail link that trashes huge swathes of countryside
 
Flyovers

The flyover in Croydon surrey was built with under road heating but was disconncted a long time ago dunno if it was ever used but it was put in.

Its not a problem, its in the sarf-eathst. Not in Yorkshire:hide
 
Waiting for the Chiswick flyover to fall down, the steel one over the roundabout by Fullers brewery, creaky old thing moves whenever I drive across it.
