Fog City - definately better than the Pin-Lock sheete from my experiences. I'll never buy Pin-Lock again. Not only it kills the fog visor, it kills your visor too - dust, gravel, sand gets between the visor and fog layer, they start to scratch each other and fek up in a short term.
Fog City gluable any time for me. Then the fog layer and visor are fixed to each other, no mechanical movement of pin tighteting, no scratching
1) clean throughoutly the visor from inside before puting a new Fog City on. Altough I highly recommend only to put it on the brand new visor. Bin your current used visor and Pinlock fekker layer, buy a new visor + Fog City layer is the best solution IMHO.
2) You need to bend Fog Cit into same shape as the visor on glueing. Better if you bend it slightly even more that the central part attaches first and then the corners. With your finger press all the FogCity's corner surface over, to be sure all cornerline has had a good contact with the visor.
3) Clean carefully with soft cloth only from inside when doing maintenance. Pinlock fog layer also is very fragile on cleaning btw, scratches are easy to come, but that's the problem with all the anti-fog surfaces. If you take good care Fog City it will last the lifetime of your visor and keeps your vision maximum, while Pinlock feks up everything with
scratching from between the layers in a short time and you frequently keep replacing both the visor and fog layer (£££).
These are my personal experiences with both systems anyways.
