Just a thought, has anyone thought of getting these copied or replicated in some way?? Probably a patent on them but if they arent being made anymore if the dimensions were clear etc I am sure a fabricator I know could throw some together or something similar. Anyone interested in combining forces to give this a shot?

I guess if someone had a pair to take some moulds from, they could be made quite easily from carbon fibre or fibre glass.

So, I guess the question is, does anyone have a set? And if so are you willing to take em off so moldings can be taken?

All above board don't worry they and me wouldnt go missing suddenly!!!

If someone is willing get in touch and I will see if I can tee up a company to get them replicated in some way or similar way. Would probably be easy to bosh out 20-30 sets to satisfy the desperate needs of those tossers who have made it their life's aim to locate a set!!!

Does anybody have a pic of these actually on a bike ?

Check my first post on this thread Slimpickings, click on the link and you will see a bike that has them fitted...pretty darn good and pretty darn simple idea.

I like my Migsel light bar but with 4 lights on it it vibrates a fair amount plus the GMT mounts shift the lights up higher.

I have spent the last 3years looking into various options for my driving lights and foglights and these brackets coupled with a Top Line headlamp/oil cooler guard I have from the USA (on one of my other posts) seem like a good combo to me for all 4 lights.

Project...

Hello there,

This post comes at prime time... A machine shop in Sunnyvale CA made a few copies of these GMT mounts (10 pairs to be exact). The shop owner is in the final stages of finishing and these look GREAT (His primary market is titanium parts for the medical device sector + Tesla Motors = he is particularly sensitive to precision/ excellent craftmanship). This is one project we are experimenting to see if the demand exist. It took me over 8 months to find a pair - Thanks MikeO - I therefore assumed (confirmed here!) I am not the only one looking for these great mounts...

Now the touchy part: while simple to look at, it is a complicated/ time consuming effort for the CAD design (started from scratch) and 3 steps CNC machining juggling act. We have been discussing a "reasonable" price point (all subjective, I know) which will be $225 USD/ pair + ship.

We will be ready to ship sometimes within the next 2 weeks and would prefer to announce on ADV rider in the vendor section (rough crowd to please over there :D ). I can be found under "O-livier" on ADV as well. UKGSer is now the first to know about this small project.

If this project goes well (ie. sell these quickly with minimal "damage"), I could convince him to tackle making Terranova light bars (yeah, I know, a titanium Terranova would be the ultimate farkle! I dreamt of that one first :drool). This would be possible only if he avoids taking a bath on these mounts...

enough :blagblah Pics of the batch before surface treatment ($90 just for that part!):

Now apparently available for $250 inc delivery from the USA:

Click for pics.

I have no connection with the vendor - O-livier - (except for selling him the original mounts :D).
