Nothing. Just you Jocks trying to find someone they think the 'international' community would rate. And he is suitably 'historic'. Personally, I would have gone for R.D Low, or even Ivor Cutler, but there would always be the fear that the sassenach's wouldn't understand. Or should that be 'wud nae ken'?

The reason Burns is famous is because he was a mighty shagger. My Dad has an old letter of introduction saying to put him up to a relative but to keep an eye on the women or you have burns bastard on your hand but other than that he's a good laugh.
