Folder (un)Sharing.

Hey Peeps.

A little while ago I bought she-who-loves-me a small old lap top.
I had the idea that she could uise the lap top more to save her buggering up my main computer.

I decided to share some folders on my main computer by clicking the "share this folder" button. Easy peasy....

I found out tho that not all folders can be shared, namely, folders in Program Files, Documents and settings, ,,,yada yada yada.

Now I would like to "unShare" and cannot see the option to do it.

Any ideas please.

right click on the folder in question, menu item Sharing or similar, and untick the Share This Folder option IIRC. hard to check, not posting from a pc.

If you have Folder sharing switched on and the Firewall port for sharing open - you can access the "hidden" drive share with an Admin account/password

e.g. \\Desktop\C$
