As I'm riding the forest roads I'm after some, but don't want to spend TT/Wunderlich money.

Google/advrider thread suggests xr250 gear levers may fit.

Anyone with any more info on this, or any other info on what fits that's more mainstream please :kissy2

For a Sertao BTW

TIA
Mike

I've tried an xr250 folding lever gear but it was just too short for me. I've also folded my brake lever back through 180 degrees in ruts on a couple of occasions. Then taken it off the bike and straightened it out without even breaking the powder coating.

TT stuff looks nice but is no more practical than the original. Stay away from alloy as they snap rather than bend. :thumb

Same size as you.

If you want the TT look then drill some holes in the oem ones and get them powder coated white. :D

Quite a few of the x challenge alloy levers get changed to the F650gs steel ones.

Good pointer there... Mike, another soloution for peace of mind would be to carry spare levers. Like the ones up on the handlebars they're all easy enough to replace whilst out and about and small enough to be stowed on the bike or in a tail pack :thumb
