Avioded stools in title at least

Looking for some compact and light camping stools, anyone got any recommendations based on use ? Don’t want the large ones often available off markets etc. Touratech offer some varying from reasonable to costly – anyone use these ? There is a US equivalent at about $20. Currently have steel ‘square’ framed ‘X’ with fabric seat ones at present but a bit cumbersome, only advantage is cheap if nicked.

Try fishing shops - the stuff fisherman use has to be lightweight, pack up small and be comfy .

I use the expensive Touratech stool as I have requirments unique to that model I can't see you needing one of them TBH good though it is.

It is not a touratech item it is actually made by these people http://www.walkstool.com/ though where else you can get them from I don't know - but they will I'm sure.

Have a look at ebay under camping stuff. There's loads of suppliers with different versions.

Cheers all. Toutatech do a version of this http://www.byerofmaine.com/s-tri.htm but wondered if it was robust in real world use. The one you have Judge seems excellent...but costly so looking at options.

I enquired a while ago regarding the Kermit chair, and they quoted the following for delivery to the UK:

Nice chair but I was thinking smaller and lighter. The ultimate is a bit of cut down sleeping roll I guess, but that still relies on a rock or log to stick it on. that's why I thought mybe the Maine stool type thing, cheers for info though
