Slightly further doon the road in Wick, on Bridge street, the chippie is good too.
Handy if you park in the carpark close by and walk up to the chippie, nice folk'ies as well.
Well we ended up at the Y not. It was passable if not great. The problem as always on this annual trip is the number of us. This year there were 10 of us.
The only reason we stayed in Thurso was because we had never stayed there before. As good a reason as any I guess. The premier Inn was err a Premier Inn. Clean, good parking and importantly a bar.
There were a good number of old tractors turned up on their way back to Orkney. Most of the owners were young lads, nice to see.
There was also a pipe band. Again nice to see.
