Foot peg lowering kits

Hi all

I'm new to GSER so hope I'm in the right forum to get some help. I got my new GS LC Adventure two weeks ago and am having a small issue with the rider foot peg positions. I was wondering if anyone might be able to suggest an aftermarket adjustable foot rest kit allowing me to lower my knees a little. Thanks in advance

I had SW Motech lowering kit on my Multistrada. Did what it said on the tin...

The BMW kit is made by Gilles and works really well. It's about £140 to buy, but well engineered and 3 way adjustable.

If you are an off road monkey, they have spikes built in that work when you stand on the pegs and push the rubbers down. They are also a little wider than stock and quite comfy

DO you not worry about ground clearance when you fit lower (and wider) pegs?

I've got mine at the standard height, and they are fine, I've only had them deck on the plastic slider at an Oulton Park track day, and on a swift run over Nockalmstrasse. In day to day use I don't think they'd be a problem even on the lowest setting.

Valid point though, another option could be to go the other way with a taller seat, in fact I wonder if the OP has his sat in the high position?
